Geography day gives students an opportunity to visit another country without leaving campus.

On geography day grade levels become countries. Students choose a country to visit and are taken by 6th grade “train” to their country of choice. In the classrooms students learn about the history and culture of their selected country. They also get to try the indigenous food and participate in other activities associated with that country. During gym class, students play sport and games from other countries. Countries change each year, so each year will be a new adventure.
